Security Breach At LinkedIn
Users Advised to Change Passwords as a Precaution
An unconfirmed security breach
of LinkedIn accounts has been reported. According to major news sources hackers
have acquired nearly 6.5 million user passwords. Although the passwords are
encrypted, hackers presumably will be able to decrypt this information.
LinkedIn users are being advised
to change their passwords as a precautionary measure. If you use the same
password for multiple sites, please change the password for all sites and
consider using a unique password for each site which contains personal
information.
