Current Virus Advisory
**WMISYS/WMISVC/WMISVR/WMISYNC Virus**
The virus can show up as a variety of executables:
WMISYS.exe
WMISVC.exe
WMISVR.exe
WMISYNC.exe
It will NOT be automatically cleaned by Symantec or other anti-virus software.
It MUST be cleaned MANUALLY.
We are currently working with Symantec to write a new definition patch to protect against this virus.
In the meantime please advise your users to stay completely away from non-work related websites, including social networking sites such as Myspace and Facebook.
