Microsoft Critical Update Notification

Please be advised that Microsoft has identified an issue with the WMIPRVSE.EXE process on some servers running Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Operating systems. This issue may cause effected servers to become sluggish or unresponsive. A supported patch has been released by Microsoft and we have tested the patch to confirm its effectiveness in alleviating the issue with the WMIPRVSE.EXE process.

Your assigned RFA technical representative will be contacting you momentarily to schedule a time to install the patch and answer any questions you may have. If you have any questions or concerns in the interim, please feel free to contact our Operations group at rfaops@rfa.com and we will be happy to assist. Please note that this update will require a reboot of the servers being patched. All work performed for this patch installation is covered for all clients with a Compass agreement and will not be billed.
