Systems Engineer

RFA, a growing IT consulting firm has a full time permanent position in our NYC office for a Systems Engineer. This role will work in the Systems Architecture (SA) Group to provide 3rd level support to all RFA Clients. Support areas include Active Directory support, Exchange support, and all other RFA managed services support.

The candidate in this role will need to eventually become certified in Equallogic, EMC, Neverfail and any other vendor certifications as necessary.

Previous Work Requirements:

2-3 yrs hands-on positions in the technology industry.
2 -3 yrs hands-on experience configuring and supporting Microsoft operating system based servers
Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and DNS
Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003
Proficiency in hand held communications device systems (Blackberry, Goodlink)
Basic Knowledge of SQL based applications a plus
Excellent learning and research abilities
