AI is changing how work gets done, unlocking more efficient ways to approach everyday tasks. For early adopters, AI-use has moved from testing to full integration in daily workflows.

Organizations must decide how to handle AI, and banning it is not an answer, any more than banning Excel would be. What happens instead is shadow AI: people use tools the business hasn’t approved, usually because they’re easy to reach and genuinely useful. The firm is left without a clear view, leading to security and compliance exposure.

The more workable approach is running AI as a managed program, with built in controls and security. A proper rollout ensures employees know what tools are approved, how to use them, and overarching guidelines.

technology needs.
